About Serena

Serena was introduced to mindfulness during a particularly demanding season of life. As an epidemiologist, she’s no stranger to high-pressure environments—and it was through mindfulness that she discovered a path back to balance, clarity, and self-compassion. What began as a personal refuge soon evolved into a deeper calling. Now pursuing certification as a Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) teacher, Serena has trained directly with and can teach under mentorship with Rebecca Eldridge, senior teacher trainer in MBSR. She is passionate about bringing evidence-based mindfulness training to ambitious, passionate individuals like herself and to communities that have historically had less access to these spaces.

In addition to her work in public health and mindfulness education, Serena is a content creator that explores the intersection of wellness and real life. Her interests include stress physiology, our connection to nature, and how practices like mindfulness, joy, creativity, beauty, and authentic living can support us in navigating modern life with more intention and ease.

Outside of her professional life, Serena is an avid fitness enthusiast who finds joy in all things movement—from weightlifting to Pilates. She comes alive near water and finds joy in music, dancing, sketching, painting with watercolors, and spending time in community with friends and family. Everything she shares—whether in a course, a video, or a quiet moment of reflection—is rooted in her belief that we all deserve to live with more presence, ease, and self-trust.
